Regret-less

Now, in the past I’ve had regrets
          -- I’ve caused a lot of pain
I’ve made folks cry
     I’ve broken hearts
          and all for my own gain.

But you should know
     there’s just some things
          that I would never change.
Some things just make you who you are,
          even if you’re strange.

I’ve got fond memories
          of everything we do.
Life wouldn’t be the same
          if I wasn’t with you.

And though sometimes, it’s tough
          I consider Life my friend.
I don’t regret my life so far,
          so why regret it in the end?
