The streetlights pass by in a haze one after the next  Like military drones standing reluctantly in line preparing to salute  My eyes are glued to the road yet they reflect nothing but a hollow void;  A seemingly more desirable destination than my own chamber of dread

VIEW CRITIQUE
The tiles were warm against his unclad feet as he strode purposefully through the downtown zone of New Babylon. Zone D-1, as it was officially named, was designed to give inhabitants a distance from the cold, metallic world of computers, space travel and alien species that modern life was filled with. Inhabitants were encouraged to walk barefoot through the city, as Jonah did now. D-1 was not technology free however, terminals were hidden in small alcoves all along the street, receptor aerials and dishes on roofs were disguised as chimney pots and architectural quirks. Life continued as normal, it was just hidden under a faux-ancient veneer.

UPDATE!
to get that last blasted journal off my page at last :D



I think the fever's finally gotten to me :D Not only am I literally squeaking in excitement about an egg sandwich, I am talking to the egg as I flip it :D "I'm sorry to disturb you little egg, but you're about to make my tummy very happy and I simply must ensure that you cook right." and I've walked through sugar someone spilled in the kitchen, so I'm spazzing out about the sensation :D


I am FINALLY on anti-biotics. Took 3 days, 3 trips to the hospitals, and 3 eperate doctors, but I finally got someone to perscribe them :D Here is a shortened version of my epic journey:
Monday: Go to the hospital to get a surgical referal for my wrist again and my throats been hurting all morning, so I ask him to check it out. After half a seconds glance, he tells me I'm breathing through my mouth when I sleep and its irritating my throat ;) Less the 3 hours later, I'm runnign a fever and my throat is coated in white bumps.
Tuesday: go to the doctor, get swabbed, have yet to hear back from them, still running a fever, the household is beginning to feel ill
Wednesday: Can't even talk right =p I developed a lisp. Go to the doctor, he takes one look at my throat, perscribes antibiotics and then fulfills my 4 year long quest by calling out my last name Ferris Bueller style :D Make midnight run to store for emergency popsicles, and I'm happy :D


Well, wish me luck in my lack of contagiousness :D as I have 9 pages of notes to catch up on tonight =p

This series is nothing short of excellent, with the haunting imagery of the contour figures and intense poetic accompaniments. "Wounded" is another favorite of mine from this series :)


And to perfectly offset the severity of the first series, there's this one, which is needless to say, adorable ;) "J is for Jackalope" is another favorite in this one :) 'Cause who doesnt want a Jackalope? Plus, she's made them easily navigatable :)


This piece of literature is short and simply, but fervently weighed with vivid imagery and exsquisite metaphors :)

Interesting color contrast coupled with amazingly acute details make this one of my favorite pictures of his. It's simply astounding and duely titled :]

He swears he sucks at 4 liners, but he's proof that he's an absolute fibber =p
